01 — The Kitchen
Gently cooked · small batch
Small batches, sealed and held at 68°C — the temperature where nutrients survive and flavour deepens. No extrusion, no rendering, no shortcuts.

Why we cook the way we do

01 · Sourcing
Every protein is traceable to a single source — Scottish salmon from Loch Duart, free-range chicken from a Norfolk farm we can name, and we can name them because we’ve been there.

02 · Cooking
Sealed and held at 68°C, then flash-chilled within the hour. High-temperature extrusion denatures protein and destroys vitamins; we don’t go anywhere near it.

03 · Portioning
Breed, weight, age and goal feed a calorie formula, and every portion is weighed to the gram before it leaves the kitchen. No guessing, no scooping.

The menu · 58 recipes
Recipes rotate with the season and with what our suppliers land. Your plan picks from the bowls that suit her goals — you can swap any of them, any week.

02 — The Formula
AAFCO complete · vet-reviewed
Every bowl is balanced to AAFCO complete, with a board-certified veterinary nutritionist on the formulation team. Twelve ingredients, zero fillers, nothing to hide.

Yes. Every ingredient is certified for human consumption and prepared in a human-food-grade facility to human food-safety standards. The difference between Mera and your dinner is only the formulation — the provenance and handling are identical.
Breed, weight, age, body condition and goal feed a calorie formula our nutritionists maintain. Every portion is weighed to within ±2g and labelled with your pet’s name, so there’s nothing to measure at home.
Gently cooked — sealed and held at 68°C, then flash-chilled. This kills pathogens without the high heat that damages nutrients, and it’s why the food is safe to thaw and serve straight from the fridge.
Anytime, in two taps, no phone call and no guilt trip. Skip a delivery, delay a week, change recipes, pause or cancel — every option is the same weight in your account. The flexibility is a feature, not a retention trick.
Meals ship frozen in recyclable, plastic-neutral packaging and stay cold for up to 48 hours in transit. Move a delivery day in your account, and the box arrives on the schedule you set — weekly, fortnightly, or on demand.
Yes — they’re formulated to complement, not duplicate, the nutrients in your pet’s meals, and each is dosed by body weight. If your pet is on medication, we’ll flag anything worth running past your vet before you order.
